Directions

The garden

From the south take A12 north to Lowestoft, following ring road round Woodbridge. At last Woodbridge roundabout go right onto A1152 signposted to Orford. Go over the level crossing at Melton and turn left at next roundabout. Then keep straight on this road going through Butley and Chillesford and eventually you will reach a five way cross roads facing Sudbounre church. Turn right here and the road will take you in to Orford village. As you come into the village you will pass the garage on your left and then the Kings Head pub. After the pub the road does a 90% bend to the left and the Old Butcher's shop is the house on the other side of the road on this bend. It has a blue pedimented front door with the number 111 on it and the shop, ORE, is on the left hand end of the building. There is free parking in the market square which opens to the right opposite the pub.
